Job Description:
Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to develop software programs for existing and new modules in ERM.
This position exists with the internal IT – Software development team which specializes in developing and managing Enterprise Application called ERM i.e. Enterprise Resource Management. It is a system which tightly integrates key business functions and allows easy access and sharing of information. This tool has been developed in-house with a team of highly skilled software professionals and customized keeping in mind the dynamics of the Market Research business. The team is largely responsible for development, operation and maintenance of modules in ERM and has been entirely designed in Java - J2EE and MS-SQL as the database.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for error free programming & timely delivery of the modules assigned to him/her.
Responsible in troubleshooting and debugging code in test and production environments.
Understand and take requirements from the reporting manager.
Create specs document and estimate the project assigned.
Create and update the documents of the project developed by him/her.
Communicate to his reporting manager about the progress of his/her module, as applicable.
Gaining expertise in technical and functional areas of the application.
Skill Sets Required:
Work Experience: More than 1 Yr in Application Development using Java – J2EE and MS-SQL Technologies. Experience with Eclipse and CVS is preferred
Soft Skills:
Ability to work within strict deadlines and meet due dates
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Qualification:
BE,BSc,BTech,MCA,MSc Experience: 1years -- 6months Salary Offered: As Per Industry Standard.
